ABOUT WHITE STAG PUBLISHING

Founded in 2013 & based in Phoenix, Arizona, White Stag Publishing creates books focused on alchemy & the occult with intersections of science & magick, activism & witchcraft, mysticism & spirituality, speculative & the supra natural for illuminating the mind & inspiring the imagination of others to flourish.

While we predominantly publish poetry books, we are interested in all genres; poetry, prose / fiction, non-fiction, hybrid work, & ritual texts with any of the themes listed above.

We also believe in the profound effect of ritualism & writing / ritualism & reading. In order to enhance the elemental & spiritual qualities of our books, we paired some of them with beautifully adorned candles & craft to create a ritualistic reading experience. Each candle is inspired by its corresponding book with scents evocative of the poetry inhabiting them. This allows the reader to slow down & absorb the book as an archetypal tool for connecting to the language & essence of the poetry within. Through scent & memory, imagination & experience, readers can fully embody an emotive poetic experience.
